Delete your account & data

Sign in and open Settings → Delete account. Read the confirmation and enter your password to complete the deletion. If you use only Google or Facebook sign-in, first add a password under Sign-in methods. Administrator accounts require help from the operator. Deletion cannot be undone.

Deletion removes your active account, sign-in sessions, linked identities and associated personal records, including preferences, wishes, reactions, friendships and stored integration data. Public event listings remain. Restricted backups and records needed for legal or security purposes may remain as described in the privacy policy. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete an account.

To remove Google or Facebook sign-in without deleting Yondernite, disconnect it under Sign-in methods; at least one usable sign-in method must remain. You may also remove Yondernite in the provider’s app settings. For Spotify, disconnect in the Spotify panel; explicitly imported favourites remain editable in Yondernite. For guest notifications, use Settings → Notifications → Turn off on this device to delete the server notification profile. Clearing browser data alone does not immediately remove that server profile; it expires after 90 days without a refresh. Guest wishes and preferences can be removed by clearing Yondernite site data in your browser; the server backup of a guest’s choices is deleted under Settings → Guest profile for this browser, and otherwise expires after 400 days without a visit.

Write to [email protected] with “Yondernite data deletion” and the email address of your account. Explain whether you want to delete the entire account or only data from a connection. Do not send passwords or identity documents unless a specific, proportionate verification method is agreed. We normally respond within one month under the GDPR.
