At a glance
Essential storage keeps the features you ask for working. Analytics (Google Analytics and PostHog) is optional, off until you say yes, and just as easy to turn off again.
Your cookie choice
Allow Google Analytics and PostHog to measure visits and feature use, or keep only the storage needed for the service. One choice covers both. This choice applies to this browser for 180 days. Refusing does not limit browsing, recommendations or your account. Closing the page, scrolling or continuing to browse is not consent.
Analytics is off. You have not made a choice yet.
Analytics is off without JavaScript. Enable JavaScript to change this preference.
Cookies & similar storage
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with relevant website requests. Local storage remains on your device across visits; session storage normally lasts for the current tab. We use these technologies to maintain sign-in, protect account flows and remember choices you request. We do not ask for analytics consent to provide those essential features.
Storage needed for your choices
These first-party entries are used when the relevant feature is requested. Blocking them in your browser can prevent sign-in or remembering your preferences.

Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 uses _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits and measure usage. We configure a maximum cookie lifetime of 180 days without extending it on each visit. For errors, timings and click positions (heatmaps) PostHog loads a few more small scripts from our own domain; they store nothing else. In the browser PostHog uses storage named ph_* and __ph_* to keep the visitor's random identifier and the measurement state, and the counters of a visit are kept in session storage (ew-ph-session-v1), without content, as hashes only. Neither tag is loaded before acceptance. When you refuse or withdraw consent, we disable the measurement and remove accessible first-party analytics cookies and storage. Withdrawal does not erase data already sent to Google or PostHog; when you delete your account or guest profile we ask PostHog to delete the data linked to you, and for any other erasure request contact our privacy address.
External services
Google or Facebook sign-in, Spotify connections and a Spotify player you open are separate choices. Their sites may use their own cookies under their own policies; the analytics buttons here do not control those services. Cloudflare may set security cookies when needed to protect the website. This policy covers the Yondernite website; the native app does not load this web analytics tag.
Change your mind at any time
Use โCookie settingsโ in the footer or the controls above. You can also delete cookies and site data using your browser settings; that can sign you out or remove guest preferences. A changed policy version or an expired choice will ask you again. If browser storage is unavailable, analytics stays off unless you accept for the current page; your choice may not survive a reload.
