The issue of the climate crisis unites us all, so why not connect in our fight to make the world a better place?
Zelenyi Val (Ukraine) and Magnit (Bulgaria) are our sister hubs working together for the same goal: to engage and empower youth to take climate action! At this event, our goal is to connect youth from our three hubs, learn together, and bond through good wishes, solidarity, and inspiration sent via postcards!
During the first part of the evening, you will hear from inspiring guest speakers representing all three countries. You’ll meet other young people who have brave ideas about changing the world, and they’ll talk about how they’re doing that and how to do it together.
In the second half, you’ll have the opportunity to connect and chat with Ukrainian and Bulgarian youth individually. In this warm, informal environment, you’ll meet people just like you – just living a bit further away, and you can find your new penpal from Ukraine or Bulgaria. We will also get creative by painting postcards with natural soil pigments. After the event, we will send these physical cards to your new friends abroad via post.
The event takes place simultaneously across all three hubs and we will connect through a live video link. We’ll see we’re united and together, not just here in our spaces, but together with youth from all three countries.
