About the workshop:
🪙 Join us for a fun workshop where we will explore the world's oldest board game and build our very own playable set from scratch using recycled materials!
📖 ✂️We will start with a quick look into the history and discovery of the Royal Game of Ur. Then, we will get right into crafting, turning cardboard, bottle caps, and scrap materials into your own custom board, dice, and pieces.
🎲 Once our games are built, we will go over the rules together and jump into a casual mini-tournament. You will get to test out your set, play on other people’s creations, and see how the game actually plays.
✨ We will wrap things up with a chill show-and-tell where you can show off your custom setup, and take home a fully playable game to challenge your friends and family with!
💻 Workshop Details Experience Level: Open to everyone, from total beginners to seasoned crafters and history fans.
Duration: 3-3.5 Hours
