Artist-led Tour in Gold Cages exhibition

Join us in person for an artist-led tour of the exhibition Gold Cages . Come explore the exhibition with the artist! “Gold Cages is a series of twelve imagined, mythical creatures living inside golden cages. For me, the cage symbolizes the internal boundaries we create for ourselves through our fears, limiting beliefs, habits, and comfort zones. Sometimes the things that make us feel safe are also the things that keep us from being free. I started this series months before the earthquakes hit Venezuela in June 2026. When my mother and her community were directly affected, these ideas suddenly became very real and personal to me. Home, safety, attachment, and the fear of losing what we love — all these things can change from one moment to another. It made me think even more about the ethereal, about impermanence, and about what we try so hard to hold on to. This is why I decided to make the Budapest exhibition into a bridge to support Venezuela. The artworks will be available for purchase, and part of the proceeds will go toward helping my mother and children affected by the earthquakes.” - Zeus Salas ZEUS SALAS: GOLD CAGES — ART FOR VENEZUELA Exhibition opening: November 1, 8pm On view through November 13, during Dugattyús opening hours.
