Recognizing deceptive messages, fake images, manipulated voices, and fraudulent websites is becoming increasingly challenging. That sounds amazing — but what happens when nobody really understands the code anymore? In this talk, we’ll look at vibe coding from a security perspective, using real-world development and penetration testing experience to explore what AI-generated code actually looks like once you start digging into it. We’ll talk about the mistakes developers make when they trust AI too much, the mistakes models like Claude and OpenAI make on their own, and why “it works” definitely doesn’t mean “it’s secure.” We’ll also tackle a bigger question: if AI does most of the junior-level work, how do junior developers ever become seniors? Vibe coding can make us dramatically faster — but it may also be creating a whole new generation of bugs, security issues, and developers who can build things they don’t fully understand. \-\-\-\-\- You are also welcome to enjoy local, hand-made snacks and drinks on site.
