British wit with an outsider's eye. Hyper Anglais is a British fish-out-of-water stand up show. It’s the story of an Englishman who fell in love with a French woman, and moved to Paris. Now, Thomas loves Europe, but Europe remains stubbornly unconvinced. Expect sharp observational storytelling, dry wit, and the daily absurdities of trying — and mostly failing — to feel at home in a foreign place. Who is this show for? Perfect for anyone who loves stand-up, especially fans of: Story-driven comics like Nate Bargatze, Gary Gulman, and James Acaster Expats, Anglophones in Europe, travellers, and anyone who's ever tried (and failed) to fit into a culture that isn't quite theirs Couples, singles, and groups of friends looking for a proper night out!
