 a:\nThis course gives a deeper dive in the world of musical theatre for yo
 ung teen performers. Through fun drama games and exercises students develo
 p confidence and performance skills. Through studying valuable improvisati
 on techniques\, they learn characterisation and expression. Improvisation 
 also encourages teamwork. Structured mime activities help students to lear
 n the importance of body language and gesture and how to use this in their
  performance. Students explore a variety of texts including poems and scri
 pts. At this level we begin to work on pieces which require a deeper inter
 pretation of character and situations. Most of all we encourage students t
 o enjoy the magic of bringing the text alive and to the stage. Drama class
 es provide a fun way for students to develop confidence and language skill
 s. We explore a range of songs from the musicals from music hall to Broadw
 ay. At this level we encourage students to explore songs that they would l
 ike to perform. We teach technical singing skills which expand vocal range
 . Experience the joy of performing musicals through choreographed movement
  and storytelling. Show time! At the end of the second semester students t
 ake part in our end of year musical. We choose an enjoyable story suitable
  for young teens. We believe every child has a special talent and there is
