HIRD GATHERING IS A SPECIAL ONE. Few artists embody pure improvisational f
reedom like Colin Benders. A peerless live modular techno performer\, his
powerful\, groove-driven performances exist only in the moment. Every show
is a visceral dialogue between instinct and circuitry\, blending primal e
nergy with technical mastery. Hypnotic rhythms meet raw intensity and unre
peatable experiences that turn the dancefloor into a living\, breathing ex
periment in sound. Joining Colin Benders for the night are local highlight
s BIZMUTH + CVRDWELL\, LAU and DrinkNoWhine\, each approaching live electr
onic music from a different angle. BIZMUTH + CVRDWELL present a fully impr
ovised modular synthesizer set\, with no pre-written programme or fixed st
ructure. Moving primarily between techno and IDM and strongly rooted in so
und design\, their two systems continuously react to each other\, bringing
together organic\, darker and driving themes with complex rhythms\, abstr
act textures and experimental electronic sounds. LAU’s live set is a jou
rney into the deeper layers of her psyche\, where warm harmonics\, heart-q
uenching arpeggios and weightless textures meet raw electro rhythms and th
e pulse of techno. Moving between the intimate and the ecstatic\, she buil
ds a shifting landscape of sound with hardware synthesizers\, pre-recorded
modular rhythms and drums\, unfolding like a wave before breaking into eu
phoric\, high-energy moments on the dancefloor. DrinkNoWhine is more a sta
tement than an alias: an invitation to everyone interested in exploring th
e transcendent. Deeply influenced by 90s techno\, electro and IDM\, every
set is improvised and unrepeatable\, bringing contrasts to life: dance mus
ic and experimental\, calm and nervous\, real and unreal. Playing on hardw
are\, modular synths and custom-made instruments\, the project brings raw\
, heavy sounds to the dancefloor while leaving space for exploration and i
ntuition. ✷✷✷ SHORT CIRCUIT is Kassa’s own series dedicated to liv
e electronic music. Built around experimentation and a shared curiosity fo
r sound\, it brings artists and listeners together. From tangled patch cab
les and analog circuits to live hardware and strange machines\, each gathe
ring is built around raw sound\, improvisation and the unexpected. ✷✷
