This process seems to be too slow. The refore it’s useful to get acquainted with other ways of functioning. Thi s is what I would like to research with you during this weekend. One essen tial key to me seems to be the question: In what mind do I perceive and ac t in the dance? I find some interesting hints in Steve Paxton’s writings and some others in the field of Body-Mind Centering® and I would like to share and explore them with you. ---About Urs--- I met Steve Paxton for t he first time in 1989 and was deeply impressed by his dance. The year afte r\, 1990\, I had for the first time the chance to work with Bonnie Bainbri dge Cohen and knew right away that Body-Mind Centering® would be a life t ime project for me. Ever since I kept working with both of these persons t hat are of great influence in my movement research. I am Somatic Movement Educator and Practitioner certified by the School of Body-Mind Centering a nd I share my understanding of Contact Improvisation with the personal agr eement of Steve Paxton.
